Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
- Maida - 2 cups
- White sugar - 2 cups
- Vegetable oil - 1/2 cup
- Eggs - 2 nos
- Warm water - 2 cups
- Cocoa powder - 2 tablespoons
- Instant coffee powder - 1 tablespoon
- Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
- Soda bicarbonate - 1 teaspoon
For Chocolate topping
- Milk chocolate - 75 g
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
Preparation Method
- Preheat oven to 350 degree F.
- Mix all ingredients very well with a spoon/egg beater.
- Pour into a greased baking pan and bake until a toothpick thrust into the center of the cake and withdrawn is clean.
- Melt chocolate with butter in a saucepan.
- Pour the mixture on the cake evenly when the cake is fairly cool and chocolate mixture very hot.
- Garnish with white chocolate chips/ dry grated coconut.
