Chicken roast
Ingredients
- Chicken - 1 kg
- Button onions (Kunjulli) -100 g
- Chilly powder - 2 tablespoon
- Turmeric powder - 2 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 2 teaspoon
- Cinnamon - 4-5 nos
- Black pepper - 1 table spoon
- Cloves - 4-5 nos
- Salt - to taste
- Vinegar - 2 table spoon
- Coconut oil - 1 cup
Preparation Method
- Cut chicken into pieces.
- Grind half of the button onions, chilly powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, cinnamon, black pepper, and cloves well.
- The ground paste is mixed with the chicken pieces.
- Add the remaining button onions and cooked with salt, vinegar and water.
- When it is cooked, the soup is strained and kept aside.
- Heat the coconut oil in a pan.
- Deep fry the chicken piece and button onions and kept aside.
- The fried chicken pieces are then cooked with the soup kept aside till the gravy thickens. Switch off the burner and serve.
