Tomato Rice
Ingredients
- Rice (cooked) - 2 cups
- Onion (finely chopped) - 1 big
- Green chillies (finely chopped) - 3 nos
- Tomato (finely chopped) - 2 small
- Curry leaves - 1 sprig
- Urad dal (black gram ) - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin seeds - 1/4 teaspoon
- Mustard - 1/2 teaspoon
- Dry chilly chopped -1 no
- Salt - to taste
- Turmeric powder - a pinch
- Coriander leaves - few
Preparation Method
- Fry urad dal, dry chilli, mustard, and cumin seeds in oil.
- Then add onion, greenchillies and curryleaves.
- Add turmeric powder, tomato and mix well.
- Add rice and salt. Mix well.
- When done add coriander leaves.
