Nelllikka Achar
Ingredients
- Gooseberry - 1 kg
- Chilli powder - 300 g
- Fried fenugreek powder - 4 tablespoon
- Asafoetida powder - 2 tablespoon
- Mustard - 1 1/2 tablespoon
- Curry leaves -1 sprig
- Salt - 1 tablespoon
- Gingelly oil - 1 bottle
- Vinegar - if required
Preparation Method
- In a pan, fry the gooseberries.
- When they are soft, remove from fire.
- Mix all the ingredients along with salt.
- Heat the remaining oil. Splutter the mustard and curry leaves and pour into the gooseberries.
- Put them in jars. Add a cup of vinegar also if required.
