Naadan meen curry
Ingredients- Fish -4 nos
- Grated coconut - 1 no
- Chilly powder - 1 tablespoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Small onion (kunju ulli) - 4 nos
- Tamarind - 5 pieces
- Tomato - 1 no
- Curry leaves - 1 sprig
- Drumstick -1 no
- Green chilly -2 no
- Salt - to taste
Preparation method
- Clean and cut the fish into medium pieces.
- Cut tomato and drumstick into lengthwise pieces, and split the green chillies into two parts.
- Grind coconut, chilly powder, turmeric powder, small onion and tamarind in a mixer.
- In a pan(best in a manchutti), pour the ground masala.
- Add tomato, drumstick, curry leaves, green chillies and salt.
- Allow it to boil.
- Add the fish pieces and cover with a lid and cook.
- When the fish pieces are cooked, switch off the stove. Serve hot.
