Mutton curry
Ingredients
- Mutton - 1 kg
- Onion sliced -5 nos
- Tomato chopped - 2 nos
- Red chilly powder-1 tablespoon
- Garlic chopped -1 teaspoon
- Turmeric Powder -1/2 teaspoon
- Coriander Powder -1 tablespoon
- Ginger chopped-1 teaspoon
- Coconut grated and ground -2 tablespoon
- Cloves -4 nos
- Cinnamon -2 nos
- Cardamom -2 nos
- Oil - 3 tablespoon
- Cummin Seeds- 1 teaspoon
- Coriander leaves
Preparation Method
- Clean and cut mutton into small pieces.
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker.
- Fry cloves, cinnamon, cardamom and cumin seeds.
- Add chopped onions and continue frying till golden brown.
- Add ginger and garlic.
- Add red chilly powder, and coriander powder. Fry well. .
- Continue frying and add mutton pieces.
- Fry some more time and add a teaspoon turmeric powder, tomatoes, and coconut. Fry for 5 minutes.
- Add salt and 2 cups of water.
- Close the lid and cook for 15 minutes.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
